  　　There are several reasons why the government should not give support to traditional arts. The first reason is that the government will have to spend a large sum of money. It is commonly accepted that supporting traditional arts will inevitably lay a heavy financial burden on the government. Another reason is that traditional arts have their own disadvantages.
