　　(1)观点判断型(Opinion )，占62%。这类题目的特点是提出一个有关社会现象的观点，然后让考生选择立场，并陈述理由，论证观点。

　　范例　Inpiduals can do nothing to improve environment. Only governments and bigcompanies can make difference. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

　　范例　In some countries, schools aim to provide general education across a range ofsubjects. In others, children focus on a narrow range of subjects related to a particularcareer. For today's world, which of these systems is more appropriate?

　　(2)对比优劣型(Compare / Contrast)，占24%。

　　范例　The school leavers go to travel or work for a one-year period instead of goingdirectly to the university. What do you think of the advantages and disadvantages fortheir studies?

　　(3)原因分析型(Cause and Effect)+解决方案型(Problem and Solution)，占14%。

　　范例　Traffic is a very serious problem. The pedestrians and bicycle riders are more andmore dangerous. What are reasons for the problem and what are the best ways to makethe citizens satisfied?
