  　　As a common acknowledgement, postgraduate research is a central share of scientific advance.
  　　However, the investment problem has perplexed the development for many years. There is always an announcement that the governmentshould only support the scientific ones, but not  “peripheral” ones. Personally, this view is not as sensible as it sounds.
  　　Admittedly, scientific research is important and beneficial to the whole society so the government should invest some money in this area with confidence. However, if there is only science but lack of all other subjects, nothing will be done with a  conclusion.More essentially, there is no opportunity to distinguish which subject is more useful than all the others in a multicultural  society.
  　　Facing this issue, the government should cope on three levels: First, the government should collect more funds with a legal restriction or it can employ some companies to do so.More tax and financial investment will be a strong supply for the  research.Second, the research laboratory should and have to use all the money efficiently and effectively. Although it is governments'obligation to support the research, the research group should never use the money for private reasons or even waste it. Lastly but themost importantly, as the government, it should not judge the value of something in a short-sighted view. Giving it more time andsupporting it even if it seems to be useless at present will show the unique perspective of the local leaders.
  　　In conclusion, it is an inevitable obligation to invest money in doing research for college students and staff. However, thegovernment should never support the research with private and narrow-minded views.
